In Rishikesh, the GRP has managed to retrieve the detached extremities from a train, as relayed by an official. Formerly, an unknown female, whose corpse was dismembered into three fragments, was discovered packed within bags aboard a train in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Last Saturday, the dismembered portions of the woman’s body, lacking both hands and legs, were stumbled upon within the premises of Indore’s railway station. Subsequently, these body fragments underwent post-mortem examination the ensuing day. The enigma surrounding the homicide remains unsolved by the Madhya Pradesh Police.
Come Monday evening, severed hands and legs were discovered within a plastic pouch inside a compartment of the Ujjaini Express in Rishikesh. Both the RPF and GRP are delving into the matter, with the Indore Police also enlisted for assistance.
The Ujjaini Express, shuttling between Rishikesh and Indore, arrived at Rishikesh’s railway station approximately at 5:30 pm yesterday. While stationed at the washing area within the station’s precincts, a dubious plastic bag was uncovered during an inspection, situated near the lavatory between carriages S-1 and S-2. Emitting an exceedingly repugnant odor, the bag immediately aroused suspicion.
Upon being notified, GRP’s sub-inspector Gayatri Devi and RPF’s sub-inspector Anand Giri promptly responded to the scene. Upon unveiling the contents of the plastic bag, two severed hands and legs were discerned within. Swift investigative measures were initiated.
Dehradun’s GRP station in-charge, S Rana, disclosed that severed limbs were recovered from a train in Rishikesh, with ongoing investigations currently underway.
