In the vibrant city of Mumbai, the BJP’s national president, JP Nadda, vehemently criticized the INDIA bloc, labeling it as the “coalition of nefarious entities.” He asserted that the zenith of corruption within the UPA regime was notably during the tenure of the former Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh.
Embarking on a two-day sojourn in Mumbai, Nadda convened with Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, at the esteemed residence known as ‘Varsha.’ Accompanied by the deputy CM, Devendra Fadnavis, the BJP leader engaged in discussions with party workers, gearing up for the imminent Lok Sabha polls.
The deliberations at the meeting primarily revolved around the intricate distribution of Lok Sabha seats, with sources indicating that the session spanned an hour. Preceding this, Nadda convened with BJP booth chiefs and workers in the locality of Andheri.
In his address to the party workers, Nadda underscored the imperative need to re-elect Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a third term to elevate India’s economy to the pinnacle. He stated, “I have descended upon Mumbai, commencing my discourse with the profound words of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, paying homage to his legacy. I extend my tributes to Bhimrao Ambedkar, a stalwart who provided direction to India and sculpted our constitution.”
Quoting Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s prophetic words from 1980, Nadda declared, “Andhera Hatega, Suraj Niklega Aur Kamal Khilega” (darkness will dissipate, the sun will emerge, and the lotus will flourish). Today, under the stewardship of PM Modi, the lotus has not just blossomed but flourished across the nation. The BJP, having weathered numerous tribulations in the past year, now stands as the preeminent political force in the country—a matter of immense pride.”
Enumerating the accomplishments of the last decade under PM Modi’s leadership, Nadda remarked, “Our responsibilities have burgeoned. Those who were mere 8-year-olds a decade ago are now 18, exercising their voting rights. They are unacquainted with the UPA-era corruptions, oblivious to the realms of two G, three G, or four G. The era of the UPA government, helmed by then-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, epitomized unparalleled corruption.”
