BJP’s national leader, JP Nadda, asserted on Sunday that the coalition of INDIA bloc leaders, either ensnared in legal entanglements or currently incarcerated, exhibit a staunch commitment to shielding individuals tainted by corruption, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi ardently endeavors to eradicate corruption from the nation.
Nadda contended that figures such as Delhi’s Chief Executive, Arvind Kejriwal, find themselves incarcerated, while others such as Sonia Gandhi and her progeny, Rahul, linger under bail conditions. He juxtaposed the actions of opposition figures against PM Modi, portraying the Prime Minister as a paragon of progress, resolutely dedicated to eradicating corruption.
“PM Modi advocates for ‘eradicating corruption’, while leaders within the INDIA bloc advocate for ‘preserving the corrupt.’ Such is their modus operandi,” remarked Nadda. “In the state of Tamil Nadu, the DMK, symbolizing Dynasty Money Swindling, and its affiliate, the Congress, are steeped in corruption. All endeavors are directed towards safeguarding their familial interests and personal preservation, consequently jeopardizing developmental pursuits under the aegis of the corrupt DMK regime. It is imperative that the populace ousts the DMK and its affiliates to cultivate a corruption-free India,” he articulated during a public address.
“On one side, we witness the Prime Minister diligently laboring for the betterment of the nation and Tamil Nadu, while on the opposing front stands the INDIA coalition—an assemblage tethered to the notions of ‘family preservation’ and ‘dynastic perpetuation’, comprising exclusively of corrupt entities,” Nadda supplemented.
Asserting his confidence in the electorate’s fervor and determination, Nadda anticipated the election of BJP candidates to parliamentary positions. He further accused the DMK and Congress of contravening Tamil cultural norms, traditions, and customs, citing their opposition to Prime Minister Modi’s decision to install ‘Sengol’ within the new Parliament premises. “We are committed to the rejuvenation of Tamil culture, a heritage imperiled by their machinations,” he asserted.
Nadda proceeded to laud PM Modi’s dynamic leadership, attributing India’s ascent from the eleventh to the fifth-largest economy in 2019 to the Prime Minister’s stewardship. He prophesied further economic ascension, envisioning India’s ascent to the position of the third-largest economy globally during Modi’s prospective third term.
Enumerating the accomplishments of the BJP-led central government, Nadda highlighted PM Modi’s emphasis on empowering marginalized segments, women, and farmers, alongside addressing the aspirations of the nation’s youth. He emphasized the government’s initiatives aimed at uplifting Dalits, tribals, and the socio-economically disadvantaged.
“Tamil Nadu holds a special place in PM Modi’s vision, exemplified by a threefold increase in tax devolution to the state and a fourfold increase in grant-in-aid from the Centre. Noteworthy allocations include substantial funding under the National Health Mission for bolstering healthcare infrastructure, alongside earmarked funds for rural road development, potable water provisions, rural development initiatives, and a sevenfold increase in the Railway budget allocated to the state,” Nadda concluded.
