Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has appointed 4 officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) with the permission of the Election Fee on Friday evening. This contains the appointment of latest Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Srinagar, Baramulla and Kupwara districts and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Handwara.

Based on the order issued by Principal Secretary House Chandrakar Bharti, seven law enforcement officials together with two IPS officers have been transferred and given new accountability in three districts and one police district. The Election Fee on Wednesday directed the switch of senior law enforcement officials of Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara districts and Handwara SP. Additionally directed the administration to submit a panel of IPS officers of their place.
