New Delhi: On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party unveiled its manifesto, emphasizing the adoption of a Uniform Civil Code and the vision of a unified electoral process throughout the nation. The manifesto is anchored on four principal pillars of ‘Viksit Bharat’: empowerment of women, vigor of the youth, support for farmers, and upliftment of the impoverished.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while presenting the 2024 election manifesto, stated that the focus of the manifesto revolves around the dignity and enhancement of life, ensuring the abundance and excellence of opportunities. It promises widespread access to piped gas and the provision of free electricity powered by solar energy.

Present at the unveiling ceremony held at the BJP headquarters in Delhi were key figures such as Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP president JP Nadda.

The manifesto earmarks the year 2025 as “Janjaatiya Year” and highlights the importance of “One Nation, One Election” with a unified electoral register.

Emphasizing its aspiration for India to rise as the world’s third-largest economy, the manifesto outlines the ambition of establishing India as a global manufacturing epicenter.

In addition, the manifesto underscores the concept of ‘Virasat Se Vikas’ and envisions a global celebration of Ramayan Utsav, alongside pledges of further development in Ayodhya.

Other promises include the introduction of stringent measures against paper leaks, the refinement of the educational framework, and the aspiration to host the Olympics in 2036.

The manifesto aims to create three crore additional Lakhpati Didis, augment awareness of cervical cancer, construct more restrooms for women, and enforce the Mahila Shakti Vandan Act.

Furthermore, migrant laborers and those in analogous categories will be integrated into the e-Shram portal, allowing them to access and authenticate the benefits offered through it, as delineated in the manifesto.
