Security breaches within the Parliament have spurred the opposition to intensify pressure on the government. Home Minister Amit Shah faced demands in the house to clarify the government’s stance on this matter. Tuesday’s (December 19) session witnessed a heated uproar, resulting in the suspension of several India Alliance MPs from both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Presently, the opposition comprises a total of 133 members in the Lok Sabha, out of which 95 have been suspended. Similarly, in the Rajya Sabha, the opposition has 95 members, with 45 suspensions to date. Reacting to this, Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, launched a scathing attack on the BJP.
The BJP Under Fire, Mentioning Lalu
Rohini Acharya took to Social Media X on Tuesday to launch a verbal assault on the Modi government. She wrote, “The era Shri Ramchandra mentioned will come, where the democracy of this country will be looted by the progeny of forgiveness, today or tomorrow, the tyranny will cease.”
While targeting the BJP, she also invoked the name of Lalu.
Rohini Acharya posted another message, reminiscing about the days of Lalu Prasad Yadav, stating, “The knack and skill to challenge the BJP government lies with Lalu Ji.” Further adding, “Today, due to the persistence of parliamentary and public struggles, the campaign to safeguard democracy is lacking without Lalu Ji. If Lalu Ji were there (amidst parliament and the public) and not bound by health-related restrictions, it would have shown the BJP’s fascistic power its real place.”
Rohini Acharya emphasized, “From Parliament to the streets, an unprecedented and powerful opposition protest occurs. Only by donning the mantle of implementing resolutions and convictions to uproot the unbridled, undemocratic clique seizing the country’s power amidst immense public support does Lalu Ji gain momentum.”
