Pawan Kalyan, the Telugu superstar turned successful politician, celebrated a momentous victory in the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections of 2024. His wife, Anna Lezhneva, marked the joyous occasion by adorning him with a traditional tilak on his forehead. Joining the celebrations was Pawan’s son, Akira Nandan, from his previous marriage with Renu Desai, standing proudly beside his father.

Contesting from the Pithapuram constituency, Pawan Kalyan, as the chief of the Jana Sena Party, secured a significant lead. Anna, overwhelmed with emotion, performed a puja for Pawan at their home, a heartfelt moment captured in videos shared online. Displaying his characteristic humility, Pawan allowed his wife to complete the rituals while their son, Akira, participated enthusiastically.

Throughout the day, Anna and Akira greeted the throngs of supporters who gathered outside their home, cheering for Pawan’s imminent victory. Anna’s eyes glistened with tears of joy as she celebrated her husband’s lead in the elections.

Renu Desai also expressed her happiness on social media, celebrating Pawan’s victory. Sharing a post featuring Aadya, her daughter with Pawan, she wrote, “So happy for Aadya and Akira and I hope the AP state people benefit from this verdict🎉.”

According to the Election Commission of India, Pawan received substantial support, garnering 1,32,725 votes in Pithapuram. This election saw Pawan forming a strategic alliance with the BJP and Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP, a move that significantly contributed to his success in both the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

For those unfamiliar with him, Pawan Kalyan, aged 55, is a prominent figure in both Telugu cinema and politics. He hails from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and is renowned for his martial arts skills. Having starred in numerous blockbuster films, he ventured into politics in 2008. Despite facing health challenges, he emerged stronger in 2014 by founding the Jana Sena Party and has since dedicated himself to serving his community with unwavering fervor and dedication.
