Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election scheduled for November 17, 2023, has garnered significant attention from all political parties. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in particular, is actively engaged in an extensive election campaign in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his recent visit to Muraina, addressed a public gathering and took a critical stance on the Congress party.
Addressing the crowd, PM Modi emphasized that while the Congress used to claim the first right to the country’s resources for Muslims, his government believes that the primary beneficiaries should be the underprivileged. He mentioned a significant shift in India’s defense strategy, highlighting that previously, the Congress party relied on foreign arms, making our army vulnerable to terrorist attacks. In contrast, the current government has reinforced the military’s capabilities and ensured a strong defense.
PM Modi stated, “The Congress is primarily concerned with its own family. One family in Delhi, another in Madhya Pradesh.” He claimed that Congress leaders in Madhya Pradesh were more focused on fighting among themselves than serving the public.
The Prime Minister expressed his confidence in the people of Madhya Pradesh, stating that they have placed their trust in him and the BJP. Since the formation of the BJP’s double-engine government in the state, there has been visible progress and development, while the Congress, in the past, hindered the state’s growth.
Additionally, PM Modi highlighted the success of the Pradhan Mantri Swamitva Yojana, a scheme aimed at providing legal documents for land and property to every family. He asserted that this scheme has been particularly beneficial for Dalits, OBCs, and Adivasi families, emphasizing that, in his view, the poorest citizens are the most crucial focus of his government’s efforts.
