New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Drass in Ladakh on July 26 to have a good time the twenty fifth anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Earlier on Sunday, Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Brigadier (Retd) B D Mishra held a gathering on the Secretariat and reviewed the preparations for the Prime Minister’s go to to the Kargil Struggle Memorial in Drass.

Lieutenant Governor Brigadier Dr BD Mishra (Retd) held a gathering on the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat to debate the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s go to to the Kargil Struggle Memorial Drass. LG Mishra requested the involved officers to finish all the mandatory preparations on time. The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh stated that he’ll go to the Kargil Struggle Memorial in Drass on July 24, 2024 to examine the preparations for the Prime Minister’s go to.

Earlier in 2022, PM Modi celebrated Diwali in Kargil with the troopers and in addition laid a wreath on the Kargil Struggle Memorial and paid tribute to the army personnel who misplaced their lives right here in 1999. Kargil Vijay Diwas, celebrated yearly on 26 July in India, commemorates the victory of Operation Vijay in 1999.
