In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bihar visit, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav took a jab at the PM by enumerating eight terms close to his heart, such as ‘Pakistan’, ‘Hindu-Muslim’, and ‘Temple-Mosque’, while lamenting the neglect of issues like unemployment, investment, and inflation.
Yadav pointed out that PM Modi’s favored lexicon includes Pakistan, Hindu-Muslim, Temple-Mosque, Cow-Buffalo, Fish-Mughal, Mangalsutra, burning ground, and crematorium. He noted that this compilation was based on observations from the initial two electoral phases, with the possibility of further additions by the seventh phase.
Furthermore, the former Chief Minister of Bihar accused the PM of sidelining critical concerns like unemployment, inflation, poverty, investment, and development.
Expressing his views via his social media handle, Yadav highlighted the vastness of the Hindi lexicon, estimating around 1.5 lakh words, with an additional 6.5 lakh technical terms from various fields of study. Yet, he observed, the Prime Minister’s vocabulary gravitates towards a select few, including Pakistan, crematorium, burning ground, Hindu-Muslim, Temple-Mosque, Fish-Mughal, Mangalsutra, cow, and buffalo.
He surmised that this roster of favorites was compiled up to the second phase of elections, with the likelihood of expansion as the electoral process progresses. In conclusion, he lamented the oversight of crucial issues like employment opportunities, agricultural challenges, inflationary pressures, investment prospects, and the aspirations of students, scientists, and youth.
It’s worth noting that PM Modi, who has visited Bihar on four occasions during the initial phases of the elections, is slated to arrive in Darbhanga tomorrow. This marks his fifth visit to the state, where he aims to garner support for BJP candidate Gopalji Thakur.
