“Aadujeevitham- The Goat Life,” which premiered on March 28, has been receiving accolades for its remarkable performances and narrative depth. The movie has been lauded by critics and audiences alike for its captivating storyline. Recently, the film’s cinematographer shed light on the preparation behind actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s striking scene in “Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life.”
Cinematographer Sunil KS discussed Prithviraj’s memorable scene in the movie. Before shooting the scene, Prithviraj observed a three-day fast, a fact revealed by Sunil and interpreted by Christopher Kanagaraj. The plot revolves around Najeeb, portrayed by Prithviraj, a laboring Malayali migrant who is abducted and forced into slavery to tend to goats on a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia.
In a video shared by Christopher on social media, he stated, “Prithviraj abstained from food and drink for three days prior to the scene, consuming only 30ML of Vodka to dehydrate his body further. He was assisted to the set by the crew in a chair, which was removed before filming commenced.”
The film depicts a gripping tale of real-life survival and has grossed Rs 35.55 crore to date. Based on Benyamin’s bestselling novel from 2008, “Aadujeevitham” is produced by Visual Romance and features notable actors such as KR Gokul, Amala Paul, Hollywood’s Jimmy Jean-Louis, and key figures from the Arab world, Talib al Balushi and RikAby.
The auditory experience is crafted by Resul Pookutty, while the musical score is composed by AR Rahman. This multilingual production, helmed by Blessy, is anticipated to surpass an Indian net worth of Rs 50 crore.
