Having wrapped up the filming of TJ Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan, he is poised to embark on his next cinematic venture, Coolie, under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. However, before delving into the intricacies of his forthcoming project, Rajinikanth has elected to embark on a spiritual sojourn to the Himalayas.
On the 29th of May, the eminent star was observed at Chennai airport, embarking on his journey to the Himalayas. Additionally, he intends to pay homage to sacred locales such as Kedarnath. In his interaction with the press prior to his departure, Rajinikanth remarked, “Annually, I undertake a pilgrimage to the Himalayas. My itinerary includes visits to spiritual hubs like Kedarnath and Badrinath.” Furthermore, he expressed contentment with the outcome of Vettaiyan, affirming, “The cinematic endeavor Vettaiyan has yielded satisfactory results.”
When probed regarding his views on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s prospects in the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024, Rajinikanth gracefully abstained from comment, stating, “I regret to inform you that I will not be addressing any queries pertaining to politics.” Similarly, when confronted with inquiries concerning the ongoing discourse within the Tamil film industry concerning the comparative significance of music vis-à-vis lyrics, he opted to remain neutral, offering a succinct “I have no remarks to offer.”
