The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, entrusted with the oversight of the Ram Temple’s construction, unveiled on Monday the timetable for the forthcoming ‘Prana Pratishtha’ ceremony and its associated rituals. This momentous occasion is slated to unfold on the propitious day of ‘Paush Shukla Kurma Dwadashi’, aligning with Monday, January 22, 2024, within the sacred precincts of the temple.
In accordance with the mandates of the Ram Temple Trust and in strict adherence to ‘Shastriya’ protocols, the ‘Prana Pratistha’ program is earmarked to transpire during the ‘Abhijeet Muhurta’ in the afternoon. The procedural formalities antecedent to the initiation of the Prana Pratishtha sacraments are calendared to commence on January 16, persisting until January 21, 2024

- The auspicious ‘Prana Pratishtha’ yoga of the Deity of Bhagwan Shri Ram Lalla will occur on ‘Paush Shukla Kurma Dwadashi’, Vikram Samvat 2080, falling on Monday, January 22, 2024.
- Scriptural Protocols and Pre-Ceremony Rituals:
- Following ‘Shastriya’ protocols, the ceremony will take place in the Abhijeet Muhurta in the afternoon.

As mentioned by the trust, the ceremony will witness the participation of 121 Acharyas overseeing the rituals, led by Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid and the principal Acharya, Luckshmikant Dixit of Kashi.
Distinguished guests, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS Chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, are expected to grace the occasion.
“Representing the rich diversity of Bharatiya spiritualism, the event will host Acharyas from various schools, traditions, and sects, along with figures from more than 50 Adivasi, Girivasi, Tatavasi, Dwipavasi tribal traditions,” the trust said.
In a historic moment, tribal communities from hills, forests, coastal belts, and islands will be represented, marking a unique inclusion in the recent history of Bharat, the trust said.
