At the age of 26, Ravindra Singh Bhati, an autonomous contender vying for Rajasthan’s Barmer-Jaisalmer constituency in the Lok Sabha, voiced his allegations on Friday, claiming a coalition between the ruling BJP and the Opposition aiming to thwart his prospects. He cast his ballot at the 147th booth in his birthplace, Dudhado village, this morning.
Bhati’s presence has garnered considerable notice since the filing of his candidacy, challenging both the BJP and Congress incumbents.
Following his exercise of suffrage, Bhati asserted the convergence of the ruling faction and the Opposition in their efforts against him. “Our conveyances are being impeded, and there is a concerted endeavor to diminish the voter turnout in this locale. However, the populace will advocate change this time around. The denizens of Barmer, Balotra, and Jaisalmer stand by my side, endeavoring to impede my triumph,” Bhati contended.
“While you may hinder the conveyances, you shall not impede the sway of the individual entrenched in the hearts of the electorate. The populace of Barmer, Balotra, and Jaisalmer are not feeble. This electoral endeavor is not just Ravindra’s conquest; rather, it embodies the aspirations of the Barmer, Jaisalmer, and Balotra populace for transformation. Assuredly, the outcomes shall align accordingly. I harbor unwavering faith in this,” he appended.
As per Bhati, individuals devoid of developmental concerns resort to mutual recriminations. The primary quandary in the region, he delineated, revolves around water scarcity. Concurrently, there exists a dearth of rudimentary necessities encompassing employment, education, and healthcare amenities, he supplemented.
Evidently, the Barmer-Jaisalmer seat bears semblance to a three-cornered competition involving the BJP, Congress, and the independent aspirant.
