The alleged offender, Aayan Khan, additionally administered a prompt adhesive into the 23-year-old woman’s eyes, resulting in grievous harm to one of her visual organs, the official disclosed on the Sabbath. On April 17, the woman reached out to law enforcement, indicating that she had been residing with the accused for a span of 10 days. However, upon proposing marriage, he resorted to violence, the woman contended. According to her assertion, the accused unleashed a barrage of insults towards her, subjected her to a thrashing with a belt, and applied a potent adhesive to her eyes, the official explicated referring to her grievance.
The individual was taken into custody on April 18 while transporting 60 liters of rustic liquor on his motorbike. He stands accused of sexual assault, battery, and contraventions under the Excise Act, as conveyed by the police official, who appended that the demolition of the unauthorized portion of his dwelling took place on the Sabbath.
A Guna-based private hospital’s ophthalmologist, who extended medical attention to the woman, revealed that she had incurred severe damage to one of her visual organs. Subsequently, she was transferred to Gwalior for specialized medical treatment, he appended.
