Former Congress MLA Yatindra Siddaramaiah has asserted that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is entangled in numerous criminal litigations and took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for aligning himself with such individuals.
During a gathering of party members in Hanur town of Chamarajanagar district, Yatindra stated, “Amit Shah is embroiled in homicide accusations in Gujarat and has a history of illicit undertakings. PM Modi is steering the administration alongside such individuals.”
The offspring of CM Siddaramaiah, Yatindra, further contended that a significant number of those occupying prominent positions in the BJP-led government have legal charges against them. “Over the past decade, we have witnessed the repercussions on the nation when such individuals wield authority,” he remarked.
“The Central government pledged to generate two crore employment opportunities. However, who reaped the benefits? Presently, they are disclaiming the Centre’s obligation to furnish employment for the jobless. Similarly, PM Modi pledged to repatriate illicit funds. Regrettably, they failed to disclose the roster of individuals with accounts in Swiss banks. Only the prices of petroleum and diesel have surged,” Yatindra appended.
The Congress luminary alleged that the BJP harbors clandestine intentions to overhaul the Constitution. “They (BJP) proclaim they will secure over 400 seats. Should they succeed, they will enact their covert agenda, namely, altering the Constitution. The Modi administration is the sole government in the annals of the nation to asphyxiate democratic processes,” he proclaimed.
Ministers H Venkatesh, HC Mahadevappa, and a multitude of party adherents graced the electoral congregation.
