In Bharatpur, Rajasthan, a young individual, aged 18, who was preparing for the NEET examination, sadly chose to end their life on the eve of the medical exam slated for May 5, as reported by the local authorities on Sunday. This tragic incident occurred in Brij Nagar during the late hours of Saturday.
The deceased, identified as Manish, hails from the village Nagla Mirchua, situated within the jurisdiction of Lakhanpur police station. Sultan, the RBM outpost in-charge, provided details stating that Manish was the son of Harbhan Singh. Upon receiving notification of the event, law enforcement promptly responded and conducted a post-mortem examination at the RBM Hospital mortuary. Subsequently, the authorities handed over the remains to the family of the deceased.
Manish, who resided in Brij Nagar with his elder sibling, dedicated two years to preparing for the medical entrance examination. It is noted that on the evening preceding the unfortunate incident, Manish’s elder brother departed for the market. Upon his return, he discovered Manish’s lifeless body. Urgently, he transported Manish to RBM Hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him deceased.
The NEET UG 2024 examination was slated for May 5, spanning across 571 cities nationwide and abroad, including 557 cities within India and 14 overseas. A network of over 5,000 examination centers was established throughout the country to facilitate the examination process.
