Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has conveyed his heartfelt condolences following the demise of Ramoji Rao, the illustrious chairman of the Eenadu media conglomerate and the visionary founder of Ramoji Film City.

In a visit shrouded in somber reverence on Tuesday evening, CM Revanth Reddy was accompanied by state minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy. They made their way to the residence of Ramoji Rao, who departed this life at 87 while receiving medical care at Star Hospital in Hyderabad during the early hours of Saturday. Revanth Reddy, alongside his entourage, paid homage at Ramoji Film City, venerating the invaluable legacy Rao imparted to the media realm.

Subsequently, they convened with Eenadu MD Ch. Kiron, Margadarsi MD Shailaja Kiron, Ramoji Film City MD Vijayeshwari, and other kin.

CM Reddy expressed profound grief over Rao’s passing, emphasizing his monumental contributions to Telugu journalism and the industrial sector.

“The departure of leader, distinguished industrialist, and Padma Vibhushan laureate Cherukuri Ramoji Rao has dealt a grievous blow,” he remarked in a post on X.

He further extolled Rao for bestowing unparalleled credibility upon Telugu journalism and enriching the Telugu industrial domain.

“Ramoji Rao has left a void that no one can ever fill,” the Chief Minister lamented. He urged the bereaved family to muster courage and fortitude in this trying time.

Additionally, Tripura Governor Nallu Indrasena Reddy also paid homage to the late Ramoji Rao. Indrasena Reddy visited the family at their residence in Ramoji Film City, reminiscing about his past affiliations with Rao.
