In Nizamabad, a multitude of woodland guardians suffered injuries subsequent to an assault by locals when they intervened to thwart illicit agricultural endeavors on wooded territory within Telangana’s Nizamabad province on the day of Venus. Authorities have documented a legal case against 37 individuals in connection to this event.

The occurrence unfolded within the sylvan confines of Kalpol, nestled within the precincts of Mopal mandal in Nizamabad. Enraged inhabitants assailed the forestry personnel with cudgels and launched a barrage of stones upon them. Among the injured were the likes of Forest Range Officer (FRO) Radhika, Section Officer Saikrishna, and beat officers Pragathikumar, Prasad, and Limbadri, all of whom necessitated medical care at the district infirmary.

Reports indicate that the woodland wardens hastened to the scene upon receiving intelligence of unauthorized agricultural activities transpiring on woodland expanse. Upon arriving at Kalpol village, they encountered Motilal, a local denizen, and his kin engaged in plowing with a mechanized plow.

They enjoined the family to desist from their agricultural pursuits and endeavored to appropriate the plowing apparatus. Nonetheless, a dispute ensued between the kinfolk and swiftly escalated into a fracas, with a multitude of villagers rallying behind Motilal’s kindred.

Witnessing the situation spiral out of control, forestry officials endeavored to capture the upheaval via their portable communication devices, yet the devices were wrested from their possession by villagers. FRO Radhika endeavored to summon law enforcement but found her own mobile device seized, prompting the villagers to commence a fusillade of stones toward her.

Before long, a contingent from the local constabulary, comprising ACP Rajavenkat Reddy, CI Suresh, and SHO Gangadhar, arrived at the scene. At the sight of law enforcement approaching, the assailants dispersed.

The police detail conveyed the injured forestry personnel to the governmental infirmary. SHO Gangadhar disclosed that charges had been filed against Motilal, his spouse, mother, Hiralal, Ratya, Ganesh, Balu, and 30 others. Investigations into the matter are ongoing, he appended.
