In a heartrending occurrence unfolding in Telangana, a gentleman alongside his companions ruthlessly ended the lives of 20 vagrant canines subsequent to the assault that resulted in the demise of a domesticated canine and the wounding of another within the precincts of Mahabubnagar district, as disclosed by sources within the police department. Authorities apprehended three individuals implicated in the event on the 19th of March, nearly a month after the episode occurred, situated in the village of Ponnakal within the Addakula mandal of Mahbubnagar district.
SP Harshvardhan unveiled the particulars of this distressing occurrence during a press conference convened at the district headquarters. The accused parties have been identified as Manda Narsimha Reddy (57) hailing from Godupalli, Farukhnagar Mandal, Rangareddy District, presently domiciled in Red Hills, Hyderabad, along with his confidants Tariq Ahmed (42) and Mohammad Taher (40) from Falaknuma.
SP Harshvardhan elucidated that Narasimha Reddy’s mother-in-law hails from Ponnakal village of Addakula Mandal and is the caretaker of dachshund breed canines. The SP expounded that one of the domesticated canines met its demise due to the assault by the vagrant canines in the village, while another sustained injuries. Narasimha Reddy, incensed by the incident, visited Ponnakal on February 15 in the company of his comrades, traversing in his vehicle.
At approximately 1.30 am on the aforementioned date, Tariq Ahmed proceeded to exterminate all canines encountered within the village premises utilizing a legally licensed firearm, culminating in the demise of 20 canines, as attested by the SP. Subsequent to a complaint lodged by the Panchayat Secretary Vijaya Ramaraju, law enforcement conducted an inquiry and determined that the perpetrators arrived in a Mercedes Benz automobile.
The trio arrived in the same vehicle on Tuesday to partake in an event in Ponnakal. As per credible intelligence, a task force under the stewardship of Bhootpur CI S. Ramakrishna and Addakula SI M. Srinivas conducted a raid at the site and apprehended all three perpetrators. Additionally, law enforcement officials confiscated a 0.22 caliber rifle, six cellular devices, and an automobile from the suspects, as affirmed by police authorities.
