Mumbai: A canine named ‘Balya’, who used to run like a wild leopard on seeing his proprietor in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, with out whom no race in Karnataka and Maharashtra is full, is not any extra on this world. Balya, who dominated the canine race for the final ten years, died a couple of days in the past. The household, saddened by the dying of their beloved canine, carried out his final rites like a member of the family.
