Tiger attacks are sadly not uncommon in Bengaluru, with several such incidents occurring in recent times. On January 5, a woman working in an agricultural field in Hallare village, Nanjangudu taluk, Mysuru district, fell victim to a tiger, sustaining severe injuries.
Despite numerous reports of such incidents, the issue of tiger menace remains unaddressed in the region. In November of the previous year, a tiger attacked a woman tending to her cattle on the outskirts of the Hediyala range of Bandipur National Park, located in Nanjangud taluk, Mysuru district. According to reports, the woman bravely intervened to protect her cattle from the tiger’s assault.
