In a heart-wrenching incident documented in Jammu and Kashmir, a calamitous fire engulfed the residence of Abdul Latief Lone, son of Ghulam Rasool Lone, in the Tajnihal Danmasta area of Ramsoo in the Ramban district. Official sources disclosed on Monday that the devastating blaze, erupting around 2:00 am, wrought havoc on the second and third floors of the dwelling.
Regrettably, the conflagration claimed the lives of three daughters of Abdul Lateef from Lonepora Tajnihal – Bisma Banoo, 15; Saika Banoo, 13; and Sania Lateef, 9. An official, detailing the incident, confirmed the occurrence, stating that a case has been logged, and ongoing investigations are underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Law enforcement affirmed their commitment to probing the root cause of the fire. Notably, in a separate lamentable incident recently reported, an explosive mishap at a firecracker factory in Harda district of Madhya Pradesh resulted in the demise of at least 11 individuals, with around 200 sustaining injuries on Feb 6. The detonation at the firecracker facility triggered an extensive inferno, claiming the lives of 11 people and inflicting injuries on numerous others.
In the aftermath of this fiery catastrophe, the police took into custody six individuals, including the proprietors of the firecracker plant situated in the Bairagarh locality on Magardha Road, at the outskirts of Harda town. The Madhya Pradesh government, in a proactive measure to avert future calamities, sealed numerous firecracker warehouses in Indore district due to assorted irregularities.
