Latur: In an exceptional manifestation of skill and resolve, a 24-year-old individual from Latur, progeny of a tailor, has conquered four competitive assessments in Maharashtra within a brief timeframe, yet he persists in his pursuit and aspires to realize his ambition of attaining the status of a Class 1 official.
Emerging from an economically disadvantaged familial milieu, Narsing Vishwanath Jadhav, a denizen of Nilanga town situated in the heart of Maharashtra’s Latur district, accomplished this feat through sheer diligence and unwavering dedication to his aspirations. His progenitor, Vishwanath Jadhav, toils as a tailor.
Following his triumphant clearance of the CEA (Civil Engineer Assistant) examination on his maiden endeavor, Narsing Jadhav assumed the position of CEA within the Public Works Department at Selu in the Parbhani district. The outcome of the assessment was unveiled on March 16, 2024.
His additional accolades encompassed the triumphant navigation of assessments for junior engineers (a Group 2 designation) within the Palghar Zilla Parishad (ZP), where he clinched the apex rank in March, and for CEA within the Water Resources Department (WRD). Narsing Jadhav also surmounted the hurdle of the CEA examination within the Palghar ZP, the outcome of which was disclosed on Wednesday. The role of CEA falls within Group 3.
He undertook all the competitive assessments in December 2023. Given that these designations do not pertain to the echelon of Class 1 (Group A) officials, Narsing Jadhav is resolute in his resolve to pursue further education and undertake additional assessments to realize his aspiration of ascending to the status of a gazetted official.
“I embarked upon this journey with the aspiration of securing a position as a Class 1 official and diligently pursued my studies. Although I have commenced my tenure as CEA within the PWD, I shall not relent in my educational endeavors and shall persist in my endeavor to realize my aspiration of becoming a Class 1 official. I drew inspiration from my uncle, Dr. Satish Jadhav, an educator,” shared Narsing Jadhav with PTI.
Narsing Jadhav completed his scholastic tenure at Maharashtra Vidyalaya, Nilanga. Furthermore, he pursued his education at Puranmal Lahoti Polytechnic, Latur, and subsequently attained his engineering degree from the Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune.
Despite encountering myriad challenges and fiscal constraints, he remained resolute in his pursuit of eminence. As word of his extraordinary achievement proliferated, Narsing Jadhav emerged as an exemplar for students aspiring to excel in competitive assessments.
