In the heart of New Delhi, a man found himself in the clutches of the Delhi Police, apprehended for a daring attempt to breach the sanctum of the Home Ministry in the North Block, armed with a spurious identity card. This incident unfolded against the grim backdrop of the notorious breach of parliamentary security on December 13 of the preceding year.
The individual in question goes by the name Aditya Pratap Singh.
Law enforcement, specifically officers from the Kartavya Path police station, took Singh into custody. The interrogation extended beyond local authorities, involving the specialized forces of the Special Cell and various other security agencies.
As investigators delve into the matter, no evidence linking the intrusion to terrorism has surfaced thus far. Rather, there are indications that the underlying motive may be rooted in fraudulent activities.
Beyond the jurisdiction of the Dutva Path police station, the inquisition extends to a collaborative effort involving the Special Cell of the Delhi Police and other security agencies.
Efforts are underway to unveil the particulars surrounding the accused, Aditya Pratap Singh.
It’s worth noting that on the fateful day of December 13, two individuals caused a commotion by defying the security measures of the Parliament. They disrupted the sanctity of the audience gallery, descending from it to the desks below, and proceeded to release a veil of smog before being apprehended, while their sympathizers staged demonstrations in solidarity outside.
