In Ayodhya, a multitude of devotees congregated at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple to commemorate the occasion, immersing themselves ritualistically at the sacred Saryu Ghat. Concurrently, in Prayagraj, worshippers also engaged in the sanctified practice of ablution at the Triveni Ghat to honor the festivities.

To venerate Ganga Dussehra, pilgrims journey to Haridwar, where they submerge themselves in the hallowed waters of the Ganges. This festival is celebrated with immense zeal and enthusiasm in cities like Prayagraj and Varanasi, drawing people from across the nation to seek divine benediction.

Engaging in a ritualistic dip in the river on this auspicious day is believed to absolve devotees of their sins and ameliorate physical ailments. Ganga Dussehra, observed on the tenth day (Dashami) of the waxing moon (Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu month of Jyeshtha, also signifies the descent of Goddess Ganga from the celestial realms to Earth.

This day is deemed extraordinarily propitious by Hindus, who believe that immersion in the Ganges on this occasion can obliterate past misdeeds and lead to spiritual liberation. The celebrations span ten days, culminating in the grand observance of Ganga Dussehra.
