Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his visit to Maharashtra, addressed the Geeta Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav at Alandi in Pune. Adityanath praised Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, describing him as a blend of power and devotion. He highlighted Shivaji’s courage in challenging the power of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
Adityanath mentioned that Samarth Ramdas played a significant role in shaping Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who stood against Aurangzeb’s power. He emphasized that Maharashtra embodies both devotion and power, evident in Shivaji’s legacy.
During his speech, Adityanath shared an incident from his visit to Agra, where he suggested naming the ‘Mughal museum’ after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj instead of Aurangzeb. He also mentioned Prime Minister Modi’s announcement of a defence corridor dedicated to Shivaji Maharaj.
Adityanath highlighted the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, attributing it to the combination of devotion and power. He expressed gratitude for witnessing the consecration ceremony on January 22, stating that the temple symbolizes breaking free from 500 years of slavery.
Additionally, Yogi Adityanath visited the Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sanjeevan Samadhi Temple in Pune during the visit, fulfilling a childhood desire. He expressed his longstanding wish to visit the holy land associated with Dnyaneshwar Maharaj, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the place.
