Bareilly: As a consequence of heavy rains within the district on Tuesday, the Bahgul river dam in Khamaria has damaged. After the Khamaria dam broke, the farmers of those villages have been going through the issue of irrigation for about thirty years. When no authorities listened to them, about 4 years in the past, individuals collected three lakh rupees as donation and after working day and evening for 25 days, they themselves blocked the stream of the river. After which the river water began reaching the fields in some villages. Former MLC Jai Deep Singh Brar constructed this dam with the assistance of the villagers.
