Flight Services from Delhi to Ayodhya at ₹2,999
IndiGo, via their official handle on social media platform X, announced the launch of flight services from Delhi and Ahmedabad to Ayodhya. Commencing from December 30, 2023, IndiGo plans to operate flights from both cities to Ayodhya, offering an introductory airfare of ₹2,999. Bookings are open on their website, urging travelers to secure their tickets via https://www.goindigo.in. This minimum fare, effective from December 30, 2023, applies to limited seats, as specified by IndiGo.
Commercial Flights from January 6
Commercial flights from Delhi to Ayodhya are set to begin on January 6, 2024. Travelers from Delhi will pay a fare of ₹7799 for the journey to Ayodhya, with the flight departing at 11:55 AM and arriving at 1:15 PM. Additionally, Ahmedabad will have three flights per week to Ayodhya starting January 11, 2024, with a fare of ₹7199 for non-stop flights.

IndiGo proudly declared in a press release that it is the pioneer airline operating from Ayodhya Airport. With this, Ayodhya becomes IndiGo’s 86th destination. Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Global Sales Head, highlighted that Ayodhya’s inclusion on the country’s aviation map follows the initiation of flight operations from Delhi and Ahmedabad to Ayodhya.
PM Modi to Inaugurate Airport
The Mariyada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya is set for completion by the end of December, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to inaugurate it. Concurrently, the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya is nearing its final stages, with the ground floor nearly prepared and finishing touches underway in some sections.
