In the opening bell, BSE Sensex surged by 61.30 points, peaking at 66,963 levels, while NSE Nifty, staying upbeat, opened at 20,108 levels, marking a rise of 11.90 points.

Out of Sensex’s 30 stocks, 18 are on the rise, while 12 witness a downturn. Leading the gainers is UltraTech Cement, climbing by 2.05% due to recent acquisitions, boosting its market standing. Other gainers include MMTC by 1.91%, Axis Bank by 1.52%, Vipro by 0.95%, and HUL with a rise of 0.85%.

Among Nifty’s 50 stocks, 35 are experiencing an upsurge, with 15 observing a decline. Hero MotoCorp remains a top gainer, soaring by 3.16%, followed by UltraTech Cement at 1.78%. BPCL at 1.66%, SBI Life at 1.45%, and MMTC at 1.24% are also performing well.

Adani Stocks are experiencing a downturn today, with Adani Enterprises dropping by 1.40% and Adani Ports down by 0.75%. Hindalco dropped by 1.09%, and Tata Motors slipped by 0.76%. NTCP lost 0.72% in its value.

In the pre-opening session, BSE Sensex surged by 58.20 points at 66,960 levels, while NSE Nifty saw a marginal increase of 1.15 points at 20,097 levels.
