In the urban expanse of New Delhi, the AAP unveiled its triumvirate of candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam. The party expressed optimism that the esteemed INDIA bloc would grant them the privilege of vying for victory in these constituencies. During a press briefing, AAP’s representative in the Rajya Sabha, Sandeep Pathak, disclosed the identities of the three contenders: Manoj Dhanohar for Dibrugarh, Bhaven Chaudhary for Guwahati, and Rishi Raj for Sonitpur.
Pathak emphasized the party’s membership in a sagacious and refined alliance, articulating their sanguine belief in the INDIA bloc’s favorable response. However, he underscored the paramount importance of electoral triumph. Initiating prompt groundwork for the three designated seats, he expressed concern about the ticking clock, acknowledging that a delay in preparations could impede their ability to engage in the electoral fray.
“The exigency demands acceleration. Despite months of ongoing negotiations, tangible outcomes remain elusive. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the INDIA bloc in our collective opposition against the Modi government. Swift decisions on alliance matters are imperative,” Pathak urged with a sense of urgency.
