Antecedent to her visitation to the temple in the twilight hour, Murmu partook in the Sarayu “aarti” and officiated in the rituals at the Hanumangarhi temple within the vicinity. The president was observed presenting a festoon of blooms to the waters of the Sarayu river as an integral facet of the ceremonial observance.
