In Bengaluru, a tragic incident unfolded on Sunday as a perfume warehouse in Ramasamudra near Kumbalagodu caught fire, resulting in three fatalities and injuries to five individuals. The mishap occurred due to a sudden explosion during the perfume filling process. At the time of the incident, eight workers were present in the warehouse.
As the fire erupted, five workers managed to escape, while unfortunately, the remaining three were unable to exit the premises and succumbed to the flames. The authorities are still working to identify the deceased workers. Fire department personnel promptly responded to the emergency, extinguishing the fire and subsequently transferring the bodies to Rajarajeshwari Hospital in Bengaluru.
The Kumbalagodu police visited the site to conduct an examination and determine the cause of the fire. According to reports, the five injured individuals were taken to Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru for medical treatment. A case has been registered at the Kumbalagodu Police Station based on a complaint, and investigations are currently underway.
