In an auspicious proclamation prior to the Lok Sabha polls, Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, announced a 4 percent augmentation in Dearness Allowance (DA) for governmental functionaries within the state.
Commending the ‘Assurance of Modi’ (Modi’s pledge), the head of state affirmed the realization of the commitment to procure 21 quintals of paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal. “Prime Minister Modi vouched for the establishment of a five-member panel tasked with scrutinizing the requests and predicaments of contractual laborers,” he articulated.
Addressing the ‘Maternal Affiliation Scheme’, the CM elucidated that on March 10, women throughout the state received a cumulative sum of Rs 655 crore in their bank accounts, appending, “In the imminent future, each woman shall receive Rs 1,000 monthly in their accounts.”
In the earlier hours of the day, CM Sai engaged in a grassroots electoral endeavor by personally traversing neighborhoods and engaging with denizens, along with encountering individuals who have reaped benefits from various central initiatives and schemes in Raipur. The chief executive further engaged with residents in Raipur, affording a receptive ear to their concerns and grievances.
This discourse was not merely intended to gauge the state’s advancement across developmental metrics but also to glean insights from the recipients of central programs at the grassroots level. Addressing members of the press, he remarked, “We resolved to convene with all beneficiaries (of central programs), not solely within the state but nationwide, today. Even PM Narendra Modi is interfacing with beneficiaries. The response has been exceedingly affirmative, and the populace is exceedingly content with our schemes.”
“We are committed to serving the populace and shall persist in doing so,” he appended. The Chhattisgarh CM had previously articulated that endeavors to elevate the state to unprecedented heights were in progress, consonant with Prime Minister Modi’s assurances.
