Hamirpur: A ladies’s wrestling competitors was organized on the outdated market place in Lodipur-Niwada village of Vinwar police station space of the district on Tuesday. Ladies tried their luck underneath the duvet of veil. It’s believed that this custom has been happening because the time of Alha-Udal. All of the daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law of the village take part in it. This custom was noticed on the second day of Raksha Bandhan i.e. Friday. This custom is 104 years outdated. On this wrestling competitors, mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law fought many wrestling matches. The beats of drums additionally saved resonating to spice up the passion of girls within the wrestling competitors. Entry of males was prohibited on this distinctive wrestling competitors.
