In Shahjahanpur, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a scathing criticism on Thursday directed towards the coalition formed by the Samajwadi Party and Congress. He alleged that a coalition of “two princes” has emerged, driven by the politics of appeasement.
Though refraining from direct references, Modi’s remarks seemingly targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav. He questioned the potential for progress from what he dubbed as the ineffective duo of “two young gentlemen.” Modi expressed these sentiments while addressing a gathering in support of BJP candidates contesting from Shahjahanpur and neighboring Lok Sabha constituencies.
According to Modi, the primary motivation behind the coalition of “two princes” is the pursuit of appeasement-driven politics, which he deems as the predominant obstacle to development.
