Names of 8 railway stations modified once more in UP

Lucknow: The Railway Board on Tuesday accepted the renaming of eight railway stations of Lucknow Division. The stations whose names have been modified embrace Kasimpur Halt, Jais, Misrauli, Bani, Nihalgarh, Akbarganj, Wazirganj Halt, Fursatganj. An order on this regard has been issued by Deputy Chief Industrial Supervisor Harimohan and details about this has additionally been given to the DRM and Senior DCM of Northern Railway.

Names of those stations have been modified

1. Qasimpur Halt- Jais Metropolis
2. Jayas- Guru Gorakhnath Dham
3. Misrauli- Maa Kalikan Dham
4. Bani- Swami Paramhans
5. Nihalgarh- Maharaja Bijali Pasi
6. Akbarganj- Maa Ahorva Bhavani Dham
7. Warisganj- Amar Shaheed Bhale Sultan
8. Fursatganj- Tapeshwarnath Dham
