Ayodhya: Vast multitudes of pilgrims are expected to converge upon the sacred city of Ayodhya for the grand festivities of Ram Navami. For reasons of safeguarding, exclusive viewing arrangements for VIPs will be on hiatus from April 15 to 18. Champat Rai, the Trust’s General Secretary, announced that prior online ticket reservations will be nullified.
Trust affiliate Dr. Anil Mishra conveyed that passenger amenities within the complex are thoroughly prepared. Rai further disclosed that on the auspicious day of Ram Navami, worshippers will enter through seven designated pathways along the Janmabhoomi Path for their devotional viewing. Blessed offerings will be distributed upon departure, with the darshan system maintaining stringent security protocols.
Rai also emphasized that entry into the Ram Temple will adhere to calm and stringent security measures, prohibiting the possession of mobile phones, footwear, and other personal effects. The city has been sectioned into seven zones and 39 sectors, with personnel from Civil Police, RAF, SDRF, NDRF, and PAC deployed for security oversight. Security fortifications extend from Saryu Ghat to the temple precincts.
Madhuban Singh, Superintendent of Police, indicated that an immense influx of people is anticipated in Ayodhya for Ram Navami. The entire vicinity has been compartmentalized into zones and sectors, with main static control points established.
Moreover, Additional Superintendents of Police oversee each zone, while deputies and inspectors supervise each sector. Strategic control points have been set up, staffed with inspectors, sub-inspectors, and head constables. Police forces, alongside NDRF, SDRF, and two PAC units specializing in flood relief, are stationed to secure the area. Over 11 additional superintendents of police, 150 inspectors, 400 sub-inspectors, and 1,100 constables will be positioned throughout the fairgrounds.
