In Pilibhit, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted on Tuesday that parties forming the INDIA bloc have consistently harbored aversion towards the construction of Ram Mandir, urging voters not to condone such transgressions.
During an electoral gathering in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi declared, “The coalition parties forming the INDIA bloc have harbored animosity towards the establishment of Ram Mandir both in the past and in present times. Despite receiving invitations to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, they declined, thus affronting Lord Ram. It’s astonishing that Congress leaders in attendance at the consecration were subjected to a six-year suspension. Can such occurrences ever be condoned in India? What manner of party penalizes its members for venerating Ram Lalla? These transgressors should never be pardoned.”
Asserting that the Congress party’s agenda mirrors that of the Muslim League, PM Modi emphasized that the grand old party remains entrenched in its policy of appeasement.
He contended that both the Congress and Samajwadi Party oppose the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) due to their entrenched appeasement strategies. “Who else but India will extend citizenship to our Hindu and Sikh brethren who faced persecution in neighboring nations?” he queried.
Expounding upon the initiatives undertaken by the BJP-led government in Uttar Pradesh for the welfare of farmers in the region, the Prime Minister highlighted that approximately Rs 70,000 crore has been disbursed to farmers’ bank accounts in UP under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, with Pilibhit farmers alone receiving Rs 8.6 crore.
“The tribulations endured by these farmers in the past to reclaim their rightful dues are well-documented. The current UP administration has implemented numerous measures for the betterment of sugarcane farmers. The quantum of funds disbursed to sugarcane farmers during the SP-BSP-Congress regime over 14 years surpasses that allocated by the BJP government in just seven years,” he added.
