In Pratapgarh, tumult once again ensued at the electoral assembly of Samajwadi Party luminary Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh on Thursday. Amidst the tumultuous assembly, Yadav implored the party adherents to uphold tranquility.
As Yadav commenced his oration at the assembly, numerous laborers ascended the marquee poles to gain a clearer vantage point of the SP leader while others endeavored to advance towards the dais. A commotion ensued at the locale as certain supporters vandalized the seating and audio equipment. Law enforcement had to employ restrained coercion to deter the party laborers from accessing the platform.
Observing the laborers scaling the poles, Yadav remarked, “It’s evident that these juveniles possess considerable vigor. However, this is not a scenario akin to Agniveer; rather, these youths are suited for military vocations. I implore you, maintain a firm grip on the poles with both hands lest you lose balance. We’ve all witnessed your robust grip, and you shall effortlessly meet the physical evaluation criteria. External requisites are unnecessary.”
Upon Yadav’s departure from the assembly subsequent to his address, the situation escalated as laborers commenced altercations amongst themselves. Numerous chairs positioned at the locale lay in disrepair.
During his address at the assembly, Yadav articulated that the electoral milieu has undergone transformation, and likewise, the political sphere is poised for alteration. “Those who once espoused the mantra of surpassing 400 are now poised for a 400-seat setback. The populace’s ire is palpable, and the 140 crore denizens shall not even allot them 140 seats,” he declared.
