As the Lok Sabha election approaches, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev urges the populace to vote for a government that embraces our legacy, encourages progress, and fosters cultural richness. Ramdev emphasized the necessity of a government that can elevate India to the pinnacle of global economic and strategic power.

In a conversation with the media on the closing day of the Shivaji Maharaj Katha and the 30th anniversary of his celibacy, celebrated during Ram Navami in Haridwar, Ramdev said, “Our decision at the ballot box should endorse a government committed to establishing ‘Ramrajya,’ fulfilling the collective aspirations of every Indian.”

“Our spiritual existence is rooted in Sanatan Dharma, while the country’s governance is directed by its Constitution, granting us the paramount right to vote. Hence, I advocate for supporting a nationalist government that aligns with the essence of Sanatan Dharma. As a priest, I exercise my right to vote and implore everyone to cast their vote in the interest of the nation. Choose a government that preserves our heritage while advancing progress and culture, one that positions India as the foremost global economic force and strategic powerhouse,” he explained.

“Achieving ‘Ramrajya’ relies on the excellence of our behavior. Ram symbolizes the purity and power of our conduct and the embodiment of our divine nature. We are the progeny of Ram, the children of Ramakrishna,” he continued.

Swami Govind Dev echoed the call, stressing the importance of participation in the election process. “No one should abstain from voting. If someone fails to vote, it should be considered a grave misdeed,” he remarked.
