In the urban expanse of Hyderabad, a constabulary member, aged 30, belonging to Greyhounds, an elite anti-Naxal unit within the Telangana Police force, met an untimely demise. The cause of his demise was attributed to an electric shock sustained during intensive combing operations within the sylvan terrain of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, as per official reports disclosed on Monday. The tragic incident transpired on the night of Sunday in Kataram mandal.

A Praveen, a valiant commando affiliated with Greyhounds, inadvertently made contact with an electrified wire clandestinely erected by poachers with the intention of ensnaring wild fauna. Consequently, he succumbed to electrocution, marking a somber episode for the law enforcement unit.

Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, extended heartfelt condolences upon learning of the demise of the aforementioned commando, as indicated by an official press release. The Chief Minister conveyed profound sympathies to the grieving family members in the wake of this unfortunate incident. Simultaneously, he directed Forest authorities to undertake a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
