In a bid to enhance user experience, WhatsApp has introduced an augmentation wherein users can now pin up to three messages within a single chat. This recent development was disclosed by none other than Mark Zuckerberg, the Chief Executive Officer of Meta, who has prominently integrated himself into the WhatsApp framework over recent years.

The pin-to-top functionality extends its utility to both individual and group conversations within the messaging interface. Users are empowered to select a pinning duration ranging from 24 hours to 30 days, with a default setting of 7 days provided by WhatsApp. Notably, users can affix various media formats, including text, images, or polls, to the apex of their chat threads.
