Jhalawar: A tragic incident unfolded as a speeding truck collided with a van carrying members of a wedding party in the Aklera police station area of Jhalawar district, Rajasthan, early Sunday morning. Reports indicate that nine lives were lost in this unfortunate accident, all of whom were returning home from Madhya Pradesh. The collision occurred near Pachola when the truck driver lost control.
Sandeep Bishnoi, the in-charge of Aklera police station, mentioned that the individuals were from the Bagri community of Dungar village and had traveled to Madhya Pradesh on Saturday for a family wedding.
The collision between the van and the truck proved to be fatal, resulting in the tragic demise of nine individuals. The bodies of the deceased have been placed at the Community Health Center in Aklera.
Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the accident. Family members have been notified about this devastating incident. This marks the second major accident in the district in recent days, following a previous incident where five people lost their lives in a dumper accident in the Gangadhar police station area.
