Facilitating UPPSC PET 2023 Administration

In anticipation of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023, a critical decision has been made to close schools in 35 districts within Uttar Pradesh. This measure is a strategic move to ensure the efficient management of the examination, scheduled for October 28 and 29. With a staggering number of over 20 lakh candidates expected to participate in this prestigious government entrance exam, this precautionary action aims to create a conducive environment and minimize potential disruptions.

State Government’s Directive for Exam Smoothness

To guarantee the seamless administration of the UPPSC PET 2023, the state government has issued a clear directive: no other examinations will be planned during the specified dates. Furthermore, schools situated within the 35 districts have been formally instructed to suspend their regular operations temporarily. This directive is integral to the success of the examination, as some of these schools may serve as designated examination centers for the UPPSC PET.

Noida School Closures Due to Education Law Violations

The Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration has taken a stringent stance by ordering the immediate closure of 14 schools. These measures were taken in response to allegations that these schools were operating without official recognition. The affected schools, which include students up to class 12, are primarily located in villages around Noida. Specifically, seven of these schools are located in Harola, four in Jalpura, and one each in Shahdara, Mangrauli, and Chhijarsi. On average, these schools enroll approximately 150 students.

Telangana School Closures During Dasara 2023

In Telangana, a different set of school closures will be in effect. In celebration of Dasara 2023, the state government has announced that government and private schools, colleges, banks, and other organizations will remain closed for over ten days. In addition to this, intermediate colleges in Telangana will be non-operational from October 19 to 25, 2023. This extended closure is a significant part of the Dasara festivities and celebrations within the state.

In conclusion, these school closures, whether for the UPPSC PET 2023 in Uttar Pradesh or the festivities in Telangana, serve distinct purposes, highlighting the importance of education and examination administration in our society.
