Former Board Member Takes on Musk: $20M Case

New York: A former board member of Twitter has filed a $20 million lawsuit towards X, the social media platform run by billionaire Elon Musk. In response to the report, Omid Kordestani, the previous govt chairman of Twitter (now known as X), has sued the social media platform, claiming that Musk refused to redeem his shares price greater than $20 million.

The report additional states that Kordestani obtained most of his compensation in inventory, however after Musk purchased the corporate, he allegedly refused to pay for these shares. Musk or X haven’t but commented on the swimsuit filed within the California Superior Court docket in San Francisco.

Allow us to inform you, Kordestani joined the board of Twitter in 2015. He oversaw the sale of the corporate to Musk in October 2022. In response to the lawsuit, X platform needs to benefit from Kordestani’s seven years of service to Twitter with out paying him.
