The succession of assaults on individuals of Indian or Indian origin has prompted officials from the Indian Embassy in Washington and its consulates in various locales to engage in a virtual dialogue with Indian scholars from across the United States, exploring diverse facets of student welfare and strategies for maintaining ties with the broader diaspora.

Roughly 150 officers and scholars from 90 universities in the United States, representing the Indian Student Association, took part in the dialogue spearheaded by Charge d’Affaires Ambassador Sripriya Ranganathan. Additionally, it was attended by Consul Generals from India stationed in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle.
