In a statement from Washington, the United States has reaffirmed that the terrorist attack at the Moscow concert hall was carried out by ISIS at Crocus. The White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, emphasized that there is no evidence linking the Ukrainian government to the attack.
Jean-Pierre, addressing reporters on Tuesday, stated unequivocally that ISIS was responsible for the terrorist attack and noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin is aware of this fact. She expressed condolences to those affected by the tragedy and condemned the heinous act.
“We want to extend our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones and to those who have been injured in this horrific attack,” Jean-Pierre stated, emphasizing the U.S.’s condemnation of the attack. She reiterated that ISIS is solely responsible.
The United States strongly condemned the attack at the Crocus City Hall music venue near Moscow, expressing sympathy for the victims’ families. Jean-Pierre referred to ISIS as a “common terrorist enemy” that must be combated globally.
Furthermore, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemned the attack, expressing solidarity with Russia in mourning the loss of lives. He stated, “The United States strongly condemns the March 22 terrorist attack in Moscow. We stand in solidarity with the people of Russia in grieving the loss of life after this horrific event.”
